The winners of the last "Mortal Kombat" tournament are back in their realm, but Shao Kahn appears with his army. Liu Kang and master Rayden along with Sonia, Cage and Kitana, the warriors of the Earth Realm, are surprised. "Haven't we won"? Shao Kahn decided to change the rules. With help of one elder god he revived his army and let Kitana's mother Cindel to lead the army of doom. If you've seen the first part of the film, you won't find anything new here. The atmosphere here is also dark, fast. The best things in the film are the music, the theme song really, and moves. Martial Art moves are fantastic, so unreal. Well performed. I couldn't say this is a bad movie. It doesn't either deserve repeated watching. If you want to go to cinema and see it, just do it. If you don't see it, you won't miss much. Anyway, if you can see it, enjoy the fantasy. Though there is no Christopher Lambert it is easy digestible. There are new characters from Mortal Kombat 3 game. The characters are well done. Why do I have the feeling it could have been done much better. Taken all to consideration it deserves to be seen. Not Academy Award film, but better then many others.
